About this activity

The JR Kansai Area Pass is exclusively offered to international visitors of Japan, providing you with unlimited travel on local JR trains and buses in designated areas in the Kansai region such as Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, Himeji, Wakayama and Otsu and on Kansai Airport Express Haruka. The pass also includes unlimited use of the Haruka limited express train between Kansai International Airport and Kyoto.

Good to know: - This pass is for Non-Japanese Citizens only, entering in Japan as a "Temporary Visitor". - The pass holder are not allowed to purchase or exchange more than one ticket for the same period. - You will be required to present your passport for verification upon ticket collection. -Redemption point: Please visit to https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/ticket/pass/shop/pdf/JRW_EN.PDF - How to use a ticket vending machine: Please visit to https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/howto/ticket-vending-machine/ - The validity of a rail pass starts from 12 am and expires at 23:59 pm on the last day. - This pass is valid for Reserved seats on Kansai-airport Express HARUKA, Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR lines. · The pass is only valid on WEST JAPAN JR BUS route buses within the valid area. The pass cannot be used on expressway buses. - These trains below cannot be used: Both Reserved and Non-reserved seats on Express Trains excluding Kansai-airport Express HARUKA, The Special Rapid "A Seat" paid seating Service and Bullet Train "SHINKANSEN". - When purchasing/receiving a Kansai Area Pass, vouchers for the Kyoto City Subway, Keihan Railway, and Hankyu Railway will also be provided. - Please refer to this link https://bit.ly/3Ficq1k for information on using Kyoto City Subway, Keihan Railway, and Hankyu Railway.
